Nominat als Premis Cuttlas jumps from the comic strip to the theatre Cuttlas, the popular cowboy of simple aesthetics created by Calpurnio two decades ago, jumps onto the stage to introduce us live into his own contemporary Far West universe. Reconquering his beloved Mabel, duels in the sun with Jack the Villain, metaphysical conversations with Juan Bala, intergalactic trips with extraterrestrial 37, special apparition of Naomi Campbell, and Friday comes at last...cherokee rave with DJ Jeronimo!! Object theatre, Japanese bunraku, black theatre, shadows and black light theatre, live music and videoprojections are mixed to give life to our most popular contemporary cowboy. A dynamic and updated show with a great dose of bitter humour inspired in the pure spaghetti western style. On stage, a musician and composer, a VJ and four actors-puppeteers amplify the traditional vision of object theatre to new audiences. The show has been designed by Sergio Pons. The stage direction is by Lluís Graells (director of the Mime and Physical Theatre Festival, EL COS). |
