The crew

PRODUCCIONS ESSENCIALS was born in Barcelona in 2006 as a creation platform that aims to enable and support innovative theatre projects that represent fusions of different artistic disciplines.

After a long experience in the physical theatre, PRODUCCIONS ESSENCIALS is created in order to promote synergies and artistic colaborations between professionals and companies that work within physical theatre, audiovisual, plastic arts and music.

From the collaborations between professionals that have taken place in Cuttlas, anatomy of a cowboy -the first big format theater project of PRODUCCIONS ESSENCIALS-, is born Acetato Teatro. It is a puppet and objects theatre company that has the objective to innovate and expand the traditional prospective of puppet theatre.

PRODUCCIONS ESSENCIALS has also participated in the artistic design and in the production of several cultural events in Barcelona (Spring Festival of Hospitalet -edition 2006 and 2007-, openning of the Plaça Europa, Innovation Awards 2008-COPCA).

ACETATO TEATRO is an object theatre company that has the objective to expand our traditional prospective of puppet theatre and bring it to new audiences through the innovation and fusion of different artistic disciplines.

ACETATO TEATRO is born after the encounter of several professionals form the world of performing arts, cinema and audiovisuals that have solid individual trajectories, which decide to collaborate to create Cuttlas, anatomy of a gunman.

The experiences and different prospectives of a comic designer, four actors-puppeteers, a theatre director, a screenwriter, a playright, a multi-instrumentalist musician and composer, an audiovisual producer and a video artist and VJ are brought together to create this updated and dynamic show with great dose of bitter humour.
